It’s Friday, that means date night! I wrote a book entitled 101 Creative Dates: ideas, tips, and personal experiences from the life of a hopeless romantic. I love creative dates. It is fun to come up with a new idea or put a twist on a classic idea and take a girl out and have fun. I had all kinds of ideas and personal experiences with dating, so I made a book about it and recently published in on Amazon. Don’t let “Netflix and Chill” be the default for your dates! Married, dating someone, single, there is something for everyone!
Creative Date #6 Scrapbooking
Is Scrapbooking dead in this digital age? It doesn’t have to be. Plenty of stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby still carry loads of scrapbooking supplies. A fun and cheap idea for a date would be to put together a scrapbook with pictures of you and your significant other together. More of the time, the girls are the ones most interested in this (Shocking? Nope.). Surprise her by showing interest in it as well.
You’ll need supplies; most likely an album and paper, and probably all those cutesy, sparkly stickers and embellishments. Oh yeah, and then there’s the pictures. Go through your ten thousand-plus photos and pick a handful to scrapbook. And yeah, a crafty date might sound crazy to some, but trust me, the brownie points that will be won are well worth it. While you’re at it, make some brownies, too—remember that whole treats idea?
What you need for this date:
An album, scissors, pictures, and anything to make it more interesting, like embellishments. And just in case you didn’t hear me the first time—don’t forget treats.
