Finding love online (part 1)
Did you know that more than 40 million people around the world have tried online dating? Online dating has gained popularity since its start up in 1990’s. Many people are surprised by the industry. The majority of young people today are texting, Facebooking and even tweeting as a new way of socialisation, and online dating is in line with this new concept. Because of the screen between you and your partner, don’t fall into the trap of saying things you don’t mean. When the person is not physically in front of you, it can sometimes be easier to let your guard down. Use this to your advantage but avoid talking about anything that you wouldn’t feel comfortable talking about if face-to-face. Think of positive things like what interested you in online dating, what you would like to do together and what it will be like when you two see each other for the first time.
