Need date-night ideas? ModCouples is Pinterest-like social media that gives couples inspiration

A new Denver-based social media site aims to help keep the spark in relationships by offering up date-night ideas.

Colorado couple Caley and Travis Mitchell say the secret to a healthy relationship is trying new things, traveling to new places and sharing positive experiences with others.

“Hiking a fourteener, going to a cool concert or eating at a trendy restaurant,” says co-founder Travis Mitchell.

Their newly launched website ModCouples is a place significant others can find this type of inspiration. Think Pinterest meets Yelp, but for two. The service is free.

“I’m not bored,” says Caley Mitchell .”Being married for 2 years, but I think that it’s important to just remember what it’s like to go out on dates and try new things and have fun together.

The site works by sharing an online profile. Couples are then encouraged to post their adventures and favorite finds.

“Pictures on websties of restaurants you want to go to, or trips you want to take, or hikes you want to do,” says Caley Mitchell.”Steal from other people and put it in your bucket list.”
