Hi, this is Jessica Claire with New York Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip we’re going to talk about what makes something romantic? I have very many good friends that I do very close wonderful things for but they’re not always romantic things. There’s an element of romance that needs to be added to a friendship or a courting to make it a relationship. Now it’s not always obvious what makes something romantic so you have to do your best to sort of clarify. If you say “let’s go get coffee after class”. And that could seem very very platonic. But the way that you say it and your body language will almost always romanticize this question. “I was wondering if after class you wanted to get a cup of coffee with me”. It becomes very clear that I’m not necessarily just interested in sitting and chatting with you but that I would like to look into your eyes and get to know you, and become romantic.
